Public Page

The hackathon rules says to put a link to a public version of my project in my submission. Does this mean I have to make my project public or do deploy it and put that link, or something else. Also I made a hackathon account but am not old enough to submit. Do my parents so it for me?

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in the hackathon! Your guardian can participate on your behalf by creating their own Devpost account with their own information, registering for the hackathon, accepting the rules, and submitting a project.

The guardian may reference that they are participating on behalf of you in the submission of the project, but they would be your representative. If the project is chosen as a winner, note that "Prizes will be payable to the Entrant, if an individual; to the Entrant’s Representative, if a Team." In this instance, the representative will be responsible for any prize paperwork and receive the prize.

In terms of the project being public, this means that the project should be deployed and usable publicly and the URL of the project should be provided within the submission form.
    Best of luck!

What url am I including for project?

Hello, There are two separate URLs needed within the project submission. Per the rules they are described as:
    • Provide a URL to a publicly available version of the Project that is fully functional as described for review and judging.
    • Provide the Bolt.new project URL (must start with https://bolt.new/~/…).

    Best of luck!

Concerning the Bolt.new project URL (must start with https://bolt.new/~/…), are we supposed to make our project public? Because if we leave it as private, which is how it is by default, no one will be able to access it.... So I am asking, are we going to change the visibility to public
