Can we use data collected before May 30 if it’s loaded into a new DB?

We’d like to clarify the “New Projects Only” rule.
Our team owns several proprietary datasets that were collected before May 30. For the hackathon we plan to:

spin up a brand-new AWS RDS / Supabase instance (created after May 30),

import those legacy CSVs into fresh tables / views, and

build all ETL scripts, Bolt functions, and UI code from scratch during the submission period.

Because the data itself predates the hackathon—but the schema, infrastructure, and code are new—does this approach fully satisfy the “New Projects Only” requirement?

    Hello Wooje, Great question! This is likely OK to include previous data in your new project. Just as long as the build is completely done after May 30. Best of luck!
