are we allowed to purchase tokens

In rules, it is mentioned as funding from outside/others not allowed and funded projects not allowed.

But, are we allowed to purchase bolt.new subscriptions with self funding? if yes, how much tokens allowed to purchase, any limits?

What if a big player purchased too many tokens for $1000?, he could be the winner, not because of purchase, but because of bolt.new will generate a lot of functional code that leads to winning, is this allowed?

Though, i want to purchase a $20 or $50 subscription only, because of free tokens doesn't generate fully functional thing i believe?

    Good question! Purchase is not necessary to enter or win. Access to additional resources will be provided via email around May 30 and then within 3 business days of any new eligible registrations after that.

    In terms of how the winners will be selected, judges will score all projects based on the following criteria and Technological Implementation is just one of the criteria which doesn’t necessarily equate to spending more tokens. The problem your project is solving, the design and UX, and how creative and unique your project is will play a huge role.

    What happened to the: purchase more tokens $30.00 for 10 million (option) that was just there a couple days ago? I'm entered into the Hackathon and out of Tokens, just went to add funds for 10 million more tokens for $30.00 (so I could finish my projects) *which ate up major tokens trying to fix errors, which still have not been fixed, and now can't finished to submit in Hackathon? because I Can't Purchase More Tokens Now? **with only 2 days left to Finish my Submission(s). THAT AINT COOL, NOT ALL ALL. YOU CHANGED THE ODDS FOR SOME OF US, RELYING ON THE OPTION TO PURCHASE MORE TOKENS (AT ANY TIME SHOULD WE RUN OUT) Wow

    these AIs are only useful to initialize projects, not useful to scale & develop further, Bolt AI eating tokens just to read 100kb of code, my situation also same..

    worst thing is, Bolt AI imported 1000s of lucide icons without any use of those in multiple code files, just to burn tokens?, i don't know whether it's intentionally implemented like that or mistakenly imported, i never asked it to import such icons.
